By using TransactionLookup.com, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to comply with these terms. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

What This Service Does

TransactionLookup.com helps users identify unfamiliar charges on their bank and credit card statements. Our free lookup decodes a charge descriptor you submit. Our Statement Scan analyzes a full statement you upload and flags subscriptions, possible duplicates, and junk fees. Some features are offered as paid upgrades; any price is shown before you pay.

Educational Use Only

The information provided by TransactionLookup.com is for educational and informational purposes only. It does not constitute financial, legal, or professional advice. You should not rely solely on our analysis to make financial decisions, dispute charges, or take any action regarding your bank accounts. Always contact your bank or financial institution directly for authoritative information about charges on your statement.

No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any charge identification or analysis.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TransactionLookup.com and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to financial losses resulting from reliance on our analysis.

Payments, Refunds & Cancellation

• Paid features. Some features are offered as paid upgrades. Any price is shown before you pay, and you can review it before completing a purchase.
• 7-day refund. If you are not satisfied with a paid purchase, email support@transactionlookup.com within 7 days for a no-questions refund.
• Subscriptions. A paid subscription renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime through the Stripe customer portal and keep access through the end of the period you have paid for. Stripe sends subscription and renewal notifications.
• Support. For questions, refunds, or report corrections, contact support@transactionlookup.com. We aim to respond within 2 business days.

Accuracy

Statement Scan results are best-effort and may miss or misclassify a charge. Always verify against your own statement and with your bank before disputing a charge. Charge identifications are not a determination of fraud.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Submit false or misleading information
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Impersonate another person or entity

User-Generated Content

By submitting charge descriptors or comments, you grant TransactionLookup.com a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content as part of the Service. You are solely responsible for any content you submit and must not include sensitive personal or financial information.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
